We are searching for qualified Welders to assist in the repair, maintenance, construction, installation and fusion of plastic pipe and reconditioning of gas distribution pipelines.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Weld butt and hot tap fittings on live steel gas mains
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Tack together assemblies
  • Clean driving record with a current and valid operator license
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years' experience in lieu of education can be considered
  • Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer's operator qualifications

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree or completion certificate from two-year college or trade school. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • Valid driver's license. Current DOT physical.
  • Work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and / or CDL-required vehicle.
