MAIN DUTIES :

Academic Instructors for Math and Reading provide instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies in a classroom setting. They provide engaging instruction, administer tests and evaluate progress in mathematics understanding and proficiency. They also identify and use appropriate materials for the students being taught and the established department goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor Degree and Minnesota Teaching License. Concentration in Secondary Math, Reading or Adult Education is preferred. Advanced degree is highly desirable. Experience with at-risk or culturally diverse youth is advantageous. Regular Minnesota Driver's License

SALARY AND BENEFITS :

$50,000 per year plus 401(k), medical, dental, vision, STA, holidays and vacation
