Overview : Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Sortation, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will organize all outgoing orders by placing packages into totes and pallets in preparation for shipping. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 6445 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30336.

This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Organizing shipments into correct containers
• Packing product in layers to ensure stability and efficient space usage
• Identifying fragile product and process accordingly
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
