Washington Regional Medical System, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas , is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics) to serve as both Medical Director and practicing physician for PACE of the Ozarks in Springdale, AR. This full-time opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical care and leadership within a nationally recognized health system.
About the Role
- As Medical Director, you will provide comprehensive medical care to participants in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), while also guiding clinical operations and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about geriatric care and committed to improving health outcomes for older adults.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), participating in assessments, care planning, and daily updates.Conduct initial and ongoing medical evaluations, develop and implement individualized care plans.Coordinate care with specialists and oversee participant care in nursing home settings.Monitor and manage inpatient care and specialist utilization.Lead quality improvement initiatives by reviewing medical outcomes and utilization data.Ensure accurate documentation and diagnostic coding.Contribute to policy development, staff training, and quality assurance efforts.Qualifications
