About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : ICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in ICU

License : Current RN license

Certifications : BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only)

Must-Have :

Candidates should be comfortable with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and psychiatric patients.

Description :

General job duties include providing patient care in an intensive care environment.

Required skills include medical, surgical, and / or ICU experience.

The unit utilizes EPIC computer charting for documentation and Pyxis for medication administration.

Equipment includes ventilators and Bipap devices.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2 or 1 : 3.

Nurses will be expected to float to other critical care units as needed.

The dress code consists of Caribbean blue scrubs.

Mandatory attendance for all training and orientation days is required.
