SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM)

What You'll Do

This full-time, permanent position in a manufacturing environment plays a critical role in the production of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.

The Applicator Assembly Operator is responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining applicator and assembly equipment to ensure products meet all quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role is essential to maintaining production flow, meeting customer demand and supporting overall manufacturing goals.

The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of experience in a crew-based manufacturing setting, with expertise in machine operations with a high level of technical skill in machine operation, attention to detail and the ability to work within a team-based production environment.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include :

  • Start up, monitor, and shut down air compressors and dryers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Keep hoppers and material feeds filled at all times to maintain uninterrupted production.
  • Operate and maintain the applicator assembly line, ensuring correct setup, smooth operation, and consistent product quality.
  • Calibrate and adjust machines according to job specifications, production schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Inspect product quality by conducting regular checks on output, ensuring compliance with specifications, and making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Review and interpret production schedules and job instructions to ensure accurate execution.
  • Ensure correct labeling and documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Train and lead crew members, fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
  • Follow all safety policies, guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Ensure proper material handling and organization, reducing waste and improving workflow.
  • Contribute to process improvements, recommending ways to optimize production, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Assist in reviewing upcoming jobs and collaborate with leadership on optimizing production strategies.
  • Other duties as required.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 4 years of technical training or experience in machine operation or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in machine operation.
  • Comprehensive computer experience, including proficiency in operating machine interfaces and tracking and analyzing production data.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
  • Ability to lead and train a team, ensuring smooth production flow.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and team coordination.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production processes.
  • Ability to analyze and improve processes, identifying ways to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
