Experience : 6–8 years in QAD SE (2014) application support in production environments.
Functional : Solid understanding of core modules — Manufacturing, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Financials (basic GL impact awareness).
Technical (nice-to-strongly preferred depending on level) :
Progress OpenEdge (ABL / 4GL) basics for analysis and controlled fixes.
Exposure to QAD .NET UI and personalization / configuration (2014 era).
Tools : Ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
Soft Skills : Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical and root-cause skills; ability to work under pressure during critical business windows.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide L2 / L3 support for QAD SE 2014 across modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Shipping.
Own incident, service request, and problem tickets : triage, troubleshoot, resolve, and document with clear RCA and preventive actions.
Support month-end / quarter-end / year-end close processes, including MRP runs, cost rollups, and inventory reconciliations.
Perform user access reviews with Client (roles, menus, security), and master data support (Items, BOMs, Routings, Sites, Suppliers, Customers).
Execute data corrections safely using approved procedures.
Coordinate and validate patches, service packs, and minor releases—manage lower environments (Test), deployment plans, and UAT sign-offs.
Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
