Naturescape , a family-owned business in Muskego, WI, operating for over 40 years, is looking for a remote / hybrid Software Developer. As a Software Developer at Naturescape, you'll create and maintain a wide variety of applications.

This position offers flexibility to work remotely, but candidates must reside in one of the states where we operate : Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, or North Carolina. If you're local to the Muskego, WI area, you'll also have the chance to collaborate in person from time to time.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

As a Software Developer at our company, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative software solutions that significantly elevate both the customer and employee experience. We offer the best of both worlds : the robust stability and resources of a larger organization, coupled with the agility and close-knit collaboration of a focused, dynamic team. You'll be working primarily with JavaScript and Vue.js, as well as Kotlin and Capacitor for our internal Android applications. We're currently tackling exciting challenges such as optimizing vehicle fleet routing and maintenance, fostering excellent customer service through continuous development of our custom CMS / LMS, and maximizing the efficiency / effectiveness of our specialists in the field with our mobile app development.

QUALIFICATIONS

A qualified candidate will be fluent in English, will have front-end experience or a willingness to learn, and should be ready to assist us with back-end programming. Experience with Node.js and JavaScript / HTML / CSS is essential, as is being comfortable working in a Linux environment. Vue.js or React.js experience is beneficial.
