In this role, you will directly influence revenue growth, strengthen CityScapes’ market presence, and help drive our mission to deliver architectural innovations that transform client spaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to :

Leadership

  • Represent CityScapes with credibility and enthusiasm as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the architecture and construction industry.
  • Strengthen brand presence and partnerships by building long-term client and industry relationships.
  • Management

  • Manage and grow client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and events.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lunch-and-learn presentations (8 per month) with CEU credits approved by AIA.
  • Oversee participation at trade shows, including planning, presentations, and client engagement.
  • Develop and manage both existing and new accounts across assigned markets.
  • Be the eyes and ears of CityScapes for regional developments, building trends, projects, and code enforcement that align with CityScapes' suite of products.
  • Accountability

  • Drive revenue by consistently generating new opportunities and following through on commitments.
  • Research prospects, competitors, and market dynamics to identify growth pathways.
  • Leverage CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) to manage leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
  • Track progress against KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
  • This is a full-time, remote position based in the Western Region of the US.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

  • 3–5 years of sales and / or business development experience in relationship or account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven presentation skills in professional settings.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50%, including monthly overnight regional trips across CA, NV, AZ, and NM.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management, accountability and organizational skills.
  • Preferred

  • 4-year degree.
  • Background in architecture or construction industries.
  • Familiarity with ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems.
  • Desired

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Business development experience within an architectural firm or general contractor firm.

  • Salary : $100k - $115k base + annual profit sharing and potential merit raises
