• Summary

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Decatur County Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

• Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients safely and effectively.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret scan results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
• Requirements
• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine techniques and medical imaging practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
