Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assist with the installation and setup of low voltage systems such as security, access control, and Nursecall systems
  • Follow wiring diagrams and technical instructions to complete installations and repairs
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and industry regulations
  • Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Project Supervisors, and Project Coordinators
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times

Basic Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring techniques
  • Experience working in new construction pulling cable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, tools, and work in various physical environments

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a construction related field or with low voltage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
