Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Located in the historic Little Hills area along the Missouri River , CenterPoint e Hospital serves adolescents, adults, and seniors who are struggling with behavioral health concerns. With 150 beds and a full continuum of care, we help our patients make sustained progress toward better health throughout their time at our serene , 20 -acre main campus in St. Charles, Missouri.

We are seeking a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with experience in addiction preferred

Our levels of care are separated by age group :

Adolescents (ages 12-17) : Inpatient mental health treatment, detoxification, dual diagnosis treatment, residential treatment for substance use disorders

Adults (age 18 and older) : Inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for mental health disorders; detoxification; residential treatment for substance use disorders

Senior adults (no age limit) : Inpatient mental health stabilization, detoxification, and medication stabilization for dementia

Overview :

Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment of patients at facility under the supervision of the Medical Director and work collaboratively with the medical / clinical staff under the guidelines of state licensure for Nurse Practitioners.

Qualifications :

Master's in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required.

Clinical experience working with the patient population of the facility; ability to demonstrate knowledge of concepts of limit setting, therapeutic boundaries, crisis management, therapeutic treatment, environment and patient care required.

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner required.

Experience in addiction highly preferred.

Licenses / Certifications :

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required.

Licensed to practice in the state in which the facility operates.

DEA license.
