Location : Chicago, IL (Remote / Hybrid Flexible)
Compensation : Up to $225k+ base + 8% avg bonus + profit sharing
Requirements : 8-10+ years tax experience (HNW focus), CPA, proven leadership
We are a Top 200 accounting firm with 100+ employees and 80+ tax professionals, hiring an HNW Tax Director to lead our growing high-net-worth practice and drive strategic expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Lead complex tax engagements across high-net-worth clienteleManage and mentor senior-level tax professionals and growing teamsDrive business development initiatives and client relationship managementOversee quality control processes and sophisticated tax planning strategiesCollaborate with partners on strategic firm initiatives and service expansionProvide client advisory on complex HNW tax planning and compliance mattersStay current on tax law changes impacting high-net-worth individuals and familiesQualifications
8-10+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership responsibilitiesActive CPA license required (in good standing)Public accounting and / or RIA tax background with manager / director-level experienceStrong technical expertise across high-net-worth individuals, corporate, and pass-through entitiesProven track record in team management, client development, and business growthExperience with sophisticated tax planning strategies and complex scenariosMulti-state tax experience preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work with high-touch HNW clientsWhat We Offer
