Overview
Were seeking a proactive and detail-orientedIT Field Services Project Managerto oversee the deployment, coordination, and operational readiness of endpoint technology and network infrastructure across retail, lab, and office locations nationwide. This individual will serve as theprimary point of contact for all field implementation initiatives, representing the internal IT team in decision-making and ensuring projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and accountability.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance multiple projects simultaneously, and communicates confidently across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What Youll Do
Own the full lifecycleof field technology deployments from scheduling and logistics through installation and validation for new retail stores, lab upgrades, and corporate spaces.Represent the IT organizationin internal meetings, providing updates, recommendations, and final decisions once fully ramped.Coordinate equipment delivery and technical laborfor new and existing sites, including internet circuit installations, endpoint device deployments, and network cutovers.Collaborate cross-functionallywith IT Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to ensure hardware and configurations meet company standards and business timelines.Maintain and enhance documentationfor field services standards, installation procedures, and vendor responsibilities, creating a centralized knowledge base for consistency and scalability.Test and validateendpoint devices and other user-facing hardware to ensure quality control and reliability across the fleet.Assist in evaluation and rolloutof new optometrical or specialized lab devices, partnering with business teams to ensure successful field integration.Monitor project progress, resolve blockers, and keep stakeholders informed of decisions, risks, and milestones.Leverage and manage vendor partnerships, ensuring service quality while identifying new opportunities for improved performance or cost efficiency.Travel to sites (~15%)to oversee installs, validate quality, and optimize deployment processes.Partner with onsite IT logistics and field techniciansto prioritize day-to-day execution and maintain clear accountability for project deliverables.Who You Are

Prior experience managing IT infrastructure or field deployments across multiple locations.Familiarity with network and endpoint hardware installation processes.Working knowledge of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar collaboration platforms.Experience interfacing with ISPs, AV vendors, or low-voltage contractors a plus.
