About The Position

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have :

• EPIC charting experience
• Travel experience
• Telemetry experience
• Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Description :

Contract must continue into January.

The earliest end date is January 3.

Traveler may request one holiday off.

Locals accepted for one contract with the same pay for locals.

Traveler must be available for 2 of 3 major holidays, including the day before and after.

Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of profile and will not be approved after the contract is signed.

No block scheduling allowed.

The position will float to all adult acute care units, medical surgical and stepdown.

Ratios are 1 : 4-6.

Modules are not billable; please factor in 5 hours for completion.

Daily census is approximately 30 patients.

The patient age group includes adults and geriatrics.

Special procedures may include pre and post-operative cardiac catheterization, open heart, chest tubes, and various surgical procedures.

Interdisciplinary support is available.

Traveler must work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Travelers are expected to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.

The travel experience is required, and previous charge experience is preferred.

This job may require working with various patient diagnoses.

Compliance expectations include necessary documentation due the Tuesday prior to start.

RN licenses must be active by the start date.

All candidates must be able to provide proof of high school level education regardless of secondary education.

This is a strict requirement.
