Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist Level II for a local contract job in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Job Description & Requirements
Experience Required :
⦁ Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a cath / EP lab.
⦁ Must be able to scrub for all types of heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures.
⦁ Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred.
⦁ Certification / Education Required : Preferably RCIS or RCES licensure. ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience in cath lab performing heart caths with intervention.
⦁ ACLS and BLS required.
Additional Skills / Information :
⦁ Looking for a strong scrub tech with experience across all cath / EP procedures.
⦁ Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS :
Ability to scrub in a sterile environment for an undetermined amount of time.
Ability to wear lead aprons weighing up to 5 lbs. for an undetermined amount of time.
With team assistance as needed, the employee must have the ability to lift patients to and from a stretcher / bed to a procedure table.
With team assistance as needed, the employee must have the ability to push a bed or stretcher with an immobilized patient on it.
Required Education :
⦁ High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
⦁ Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience.)
⦁ Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI).
⦁ Valid BCLS certification required / ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Schedule :
Full-time, weekdays 6 : 30a–5p with one variable weekday off per week.
On-call required :
1 weekend per month (5p Friday–6 : 30a Monday) and 4 weeknights per month (5p–6 : 30a next day).
No weekend commitment outside of on-call.
