HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OB / GYN Level I for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Title : Registered Nurse – OB / GYN (Postpartum / Mother Baby)

Location : Washington, DC 20037

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Night Shifts, 3x12s, AM / PM Rotation

Department : 3 North OB / GYN

Requirements :

Licensure : Current and active RN license in DC (or compact license) – Required

Certifications : ACLS, NRP, and BLS – Required

Education : Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program – Required

Experience :

Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred

Postpartum / Mother Baby nursing experience – Required

BSN : Highly desired

Responsibilities :

Deliver nursing care to postpartum and GYN patients (including vaginal delivery and C-section recoveries).

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and response to treatments.

Provide emotional and educational support to new mothers and families.

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols.

Participate in patient discharge planning and health education.

Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Demonstrate service excellence and commitment to patient-centered care.
