Job Description

As a Disaster Restoration Technician, you will use a variety of equipment and tools to help clients restore their properties after damage. Our mission is to guide and support clients through the process to restore their property to pre-loss condition. (Hours are not guaranteed.)

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license (required)
  • Age 21 or older
  • Ability to handle confined spaces and wear PPE
  • Lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
  • Reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred
  • Technicians will bring equipment into clients' homes, perform extraction, drying, decontamination, and inform homeowners about each step, ensuring a transparent process.

    Responsibilities

  • Explain job details to customers and answer questions
  • Work in tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces
  • Perform water extraction and removal of damaged materials
  • Haul debris out of the home
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment
  • Remove smoke, odors, and clean fire or biohazard damages
  • Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean
  • Drive company vehicles responsibly
  • Experience with MICA or similar applications is a plus. WRT / ASD certifications are preferred but not required.

    Types of Work

    Water, mold, fire damage cleanup, odor removal, rodent / bat infestations, biohazard cleanup.

    Minimum Candidate Requirements

  • Pass criminal background check
  • Work independently and with a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Respond to after-hours calls as part of on-call rotation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Construction knowledge and tool use experience
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation
  • Proficiency with smartphones / tablets and software
  • Flexible schedule and decision-making ability
  • Ability to train others and manage company vehicle
