Warehouse Inventory Specialist - National Cable Company - Des Moines, IA

We are looking for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. As part of a leading national cable company, you will manage all aspects of our local warehouse operations, from receiving and inventorying to pulling cable orders, building pallets, and shipping essential materials, tools, and equipment. A key part of your responsibilities may also include the issuance, reconciliation, and testing of customer premise equipment (CPE) and other hardware.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately receive, stock, and track all warehouse inventory.
  • Pull cable orders and build pallets for outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for issuance and shipping.
  • Manage, reconcile, and test customer premise equipment (CPE).
  • Use power tools, including drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
  • Lift and move items occasionally weighing up to 75 lbs. independently.
  • Enter and manage data using Excel and in house software.

Requirements :

  • A strong eye for attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to read small serial numbers and ID tags.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to drive a company van after 3 months.
  • A clean criminal background (no DUI in the last 5 years, no record in the last 7).

    • Schedule and Compensation :

  • Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
  • Pay : $15 / hour ($600 / week), paid weekly. 40 hours guaranteed.
