  • Employment Type : Travel healthcare assignment\n
  • Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center\n
  • Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 19 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per contract\n
  • On-call Requirement : Yes, as needed\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n
  • Scrub Color : Provided\n
  • Parking : Free permit provided\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2540 - $2610\n

    • \n\nCT / Rad Tech Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT / Radiologic Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab experience required)\n
  • Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license required at time of application\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ARRT, RCIS\n
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health record system\n
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures\n
  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias\n
  • Strong infection control skills (isolation precautions, sterile technique)\n
  • Competency in caring for adult and geriatric patient populations\n
  • Willingness to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed\n

    • \n\nCT / Rad Tech Responsibilities\n \n

  • Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), IABP placement / removal, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy\n
  • Set up imaging equipment and maintain a sterile field for all procedures\n
  • Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias\n
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols\n
  • Accurately document patient care and procedures using Cerner\n
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care\n
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required\n
  • Work scheduled shifts, including required weekends and on-call coverage\n
