Lead-Picking
The Picking Lead role will support our Distribution Center and our employees. This role will be responsible for leading the activities of the Pick to Light and Opex picking systems and functions and various other processes throughout the DC as assigned based on business needs. The Picking Lead will support the Warehouse Operations Manager by expediting order flow; managing the placement of resources, both personnel and materials; monitoring performance and accuracy; and training new employees on best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities
Leads team of associates through example and reinforcement of policies, processes, and proceduresEnsures associates adhere to assigned schedules, including meal and rest breaks.Provides constructive feedback and appropriate training to team members;Managing quality, behavioral and performance opportunities and strengths of assigned associatesUnderstands and is engaged in processes and proceduresLooks for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectivenessEnsures a safe and clean working environment / work area clean at end of shiftProperly assigns and reassigns work flow and task assignments of associates while on shift to ensure and maintain proper staffing and optimizable production capabilitiesReassigns associates to other tasks / areas as neededTroubleshoots equipment, scanners, change lights, etc. as necessary; identifying and escalating any issues or concerns to managementEnsures appropriate supplies are located in work areasReleases orders from host system and in WMSUnderstand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience requiredMust be 18 or olderExperiencing leading a team preferredEffective memory skills and ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.Willingness to work OT as needed especially in peak seasonAvailable Monday thru Friday with occasional weekends as neededBasic computer skills and knowledge
