Are you a Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematologist with a passion for Sickle Cell Disease ? If so, we invite you to be part of something special at Atrium Health in beautiful Charlotte, NC. Your Role

As a vital member of our Hematology team, you will spend 70% of your time in clinical care , working closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage patients with hemoglobinopathies. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care within a collaborative program.
  • Coordinating care with pediatric specialists and supporting patient transitions.
  • Managing chronic pain in patients with sickle cell disease.
  • Assisting in the development of a coordinated transition program.

We seek a dedicated physician who is ready to :

  • Engage with patients and their families to provide comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and program development.

    • Working Conditions

    This position involves :

  • Three full clinic days per week, seeing approximately 10–12 patients daily.
  • Administrative duties documented annually, with performance evaluations to guide your growth.
  • Reporting to the Sickle Cell Enterprise Leader and the Division Chief of Hematology.
