Job Overview :
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle a variety of personal injury cases in Kentucky, primarily focusing on motor vehicle accidents. The role involves managing cases in pre-litigation, as well as preparing for trial in matters related to other personal injury incidents, such as dog bites and premises liability.
Location : Duties :
- Manage motor vehicle accident cases in litigation
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
- Guide clients through the legal process and maintain client communication
- Coordinate with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Participate in training programs and seminars outside of regular business hours
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experienceAt least 2 years of experience in personal injury lawMember in good standing with the State Bar AssociationAbility to manage an average of 50+ litigation casesExcellent client service and communication skillsStrong writing and oral advocacy skillsSelf-starter with a focus on long-term career goalsEducation :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolSkills :
