Experienced Registered Nurse – Duke University Hospital – Day Shift - Full Time

Duke University Health System-  Duke University Hospital  seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of  Advancing Health Together.

Department Profile :

The  Pediatric Special Procedures Unit at the Children's Health Center  at  Duke University Hospital  is active in delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure an excellent patient experience, every time. This is a procedure-based unit providing care to children under going procedures with general anesthesia. Procedures include EGD Colonoscopy, bronchoscopies, bone marrow aspirate and biopsy, LP's, small surgical cases, and Dye laser.

Work Hours & Shifts :

Full-Time : Monday- Friday, day shift hours. This position is 40 hours a week / 1.0 FTE. Occasional weeknight and weekend on call requirement.

What you will do :

As a  Clinical Nurse II  in Duke University Health System, you will plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
