We are on the hunt for a dedicated Staff Accountant Master to join our team and help us soar to new heights!

Job overview : Are you ready to step into a role where your financial superpowers and multitasking mastery help us conquer the world? At OXEN Technology, were not just looking for a Staff Accountant were looking for someone who can be the Keeper of the Ledger and the Wizard of the Workflow.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Journal Entries & Ledger Love Keep our general ledger squeaky clean and ready for action.
  • Month-End Mastery Help us wrap up each month like a perfectly tied bow.
  • AP & AR Action Support invoicing, client billing, and vendor payments like a pro.
  • Reporting Rock Star Generate slick reports and financial statements that make sense and look sharp.
  • Sales Tax Sorcery - Prepare and file sales tax returns for 5 states.
  • Budget Buddy Team up with leadership to track budgets, variances, and forecasts.
  • Compliance Guardian Keep us on the straight and narrow with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Tech-Savvy Streamliner Use our accounting tools to make processes smoother, faster, and more efficient.
  • Audit Sidekick Support annual audits and tax prep with documentation and diligence.

Qualifications What you should bring to the table :

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and a passion for accuracy.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, ConnectWise, and advanced Excel wizardry.
  • 13 years of accounting experience preferably in a fast-paced or tech-forward environment.
  • A knack for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Excellent communication skills (because numbers tell a story and you know how to tell it).
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent career experience.
  • Bonus points if youve worked in the IT industry before!
