Job Summary

The Innsbrook Nuclear Fleet Design Engineering & Programs team seeks an Engineer or Senior Engineer to provide engineering support to our fleet of four nuclear power stations. The role focuses on evaluating the integrity of essential components such as piping, vessels, and valves and developing solutions that can be implemented at the site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis using computer modeling to meet ANSI B31.1 and ASME Section III Codes.
  • Conduct structural analysis of piping and component supports (AISC / ASD).
  • Analyze pressure vessels (ASME Section III and VIII).
  • Evaluate flaws in piping, vessels, and components using fracture mechanics.
  • Support equipment seismic qualification (IPEEE / SQUG) and seismic fragility analysis.

Qualifications

  • Engineer : 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Senior Engineer : 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Full knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to serve as team project lead.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (technical writing).
  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Proven ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
  • In depth knowledge of computer applications and ability to perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g., Matlab, Excel).
  • Equally effective working independently or in team environment.
  • Proven decision making skills.
  • Proven ability to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong planning, organizational and project management skills.
  • Preferred

  • Prior experience in the nuclear power industry.
  • Prior experience in an industrial work setting.
  • Knowledge of the ASME Nuclear Piping & Pressure Vessel Code (Section III) and Flaw Evaluation portions of Rules for Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plant Components (Section XI).
  • Achieved Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
