The Position
Arevon is recruiting for the position of Procurement Associate (Logistics), an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Associate (Logistics) will be a part of the Arevon Procurement Team and will report directly to the Sr Manager, Logistics and PWA Compliance. The Procurement Associate (Ops) will be responsible for :
- Coordinating and tracking all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure adherence to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and timely / accurate delivery to support Project needs.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, including but not limited to conducting regular audits to support accurate data for reporting, confirming inventory is stored, and ensuring that maintenance requirements are performed per OEM specifications to uphold warranties.
- Manage RFP process (requests for proposal) for transportation, warehousing, and services to support Arevon equipment and align with commercial requirements and project budgets.
- Analyze logistics performance data (e.g., delivery times, cost per shipment) and recommend process improvements to streamline operations.
- Ability to forecast storage and transportation costs to support project business decisions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms with logistics service providers for transportation and warehousing to support contracting.
- Develop and manage logistics document repository including but not limited to, Bill of Landing (BOLs), OEM specifications, and delivery forecasts.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential for this role, as daily tasks will require data management and analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, supply chain or a business discipline from an accredited institution.1-5 years of sourcing / procurement experience required.Renewable energy experience is a plus.Approaches conventional thinking with a demonstrated ability to analyze and think strategically.Ability to perform and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Entrepreneurial spirited with a team player mentality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability and willingness to travel (Why Join Arevon?
