Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic onsite school setting located in Joliet, IL. The role focuses primarily on providing specialized speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students, many of whom are part of an Autism program.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to approximately 35-40 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting each students unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to foster student communication and learning goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to goal setting and program planning

Qualifications :

  • Currently licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially within Autism programs, is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage students effectively
  • Commitment to providing services onsite during scheduled hours

  • Location : Joliet, IL
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 15 AM to 3 : 15 PM
  • Contract position for the school year duration
  • Caseload primarily consists of elementary and middle school students
