Product Development Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $26.00–$33.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Product Development Technician Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needsThe required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, standard business hoursProduct Development Technician Responsibilities
Gather, maintain, and compile technical data such as laboratory results, material tests, and engineering design changesProduce engineering documents, reports, and drawings including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematicsPrepare detailed reports and summaries, including quantitative analysisProvide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasksAssist in scoping equipment for use and completing qualificationsSupport general lab functions such as calibration, safety implementation, and equipment maintenanceNotify manager or team lead of factors that may impact project outcomesAssist in developing prototype processes and test setupsExecute designed test protocols and conduct testingDocument and communicate test results accurately and effectivelyHandle chemicals safely using appropriate protective equipmentSupport hardware debugging as neededProduct Development Technician Requirements
High School Diploma or secondary education in a technical discipline with 2–4 years of relevant R&D experience , or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to understand and perform designed test proceduresProficiency in personal computers and documentation toolsHigh School Diploma or GEDAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 daysPreferred Qualifications
