About The Position

Job Title : School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Beach Park, IL 60099

Duration : 42 Weeks (2025–2026 School Year)

Schedule : Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (5x8-Hour Shifts, 37.5 hours / week)

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 25–30 elementary students (K–5).

Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and communication needs.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with Illinois licensure requirements, school district policies, and ASHA professional standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) (required).

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) (required).

Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
