Location : Nashville, TN 37203 (Midtown Nashville)

Healthcare Setting : Specialty Hospital – Medical / Surgical Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Start Date : November 10, 2025

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1610-$1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – required before first shift

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – required before first shift

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record

Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning processes

Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff

Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and clinical best practices

Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Foster a positive, efficient work environment through professionalism and teamwork

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned after orientation

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to Med / Surg nursing
