Product Management, Director (Threads Growth)

Meta is looking for a seasoned product management leader to shape and execute the product strategy for Threads Growth in support of Threads becoming the world's leading place for creative commentary. This role is responsible for growing Threads user base to hundreds of millions of daily users, dramatically increasing time spent, and growing the Threads content network across the Family of Apps.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic direction for Threads Growth, establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in on critical priorities leading to product execution.
  • Lead the definition, development, and launch of initiatives to drive innovation and growth Threads to hundreds of millions of daily users.
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts.
  • Cultivate culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor.
  • Hire, grow and retain top talent.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in product management, 3+ years of leadership in growing early-stage products.
  • Experience taking highly ambiguous problems and forming a structured opinion on what we should do (if anything).
  • Experience growing early-PMF products to mature, self-sustaining usage.
  • Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives.
  • Experience defining what resourcing is needed to achieve those goals and effectively advocate for that.
  • Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives.
  • $249,000 / year to $323,000 / year + bonus + equity + benefits
