Job Purpose / Objective
- Perform a variety of Human Resources (HR) functions in an effort to drive performance in support of business unit objectives
- Will be primary contact for smaller business unit locations
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Partner with business management in support of business objectivesResponsible for recruitment process, selection, and assimilation of new hires through on boardingAdminister performance management systemRespond to employee relations complaints and harassment allegations in conjunction with HR Director or Corporate HRPartner with HRD or DHRD in conducting employee relations counseling and corrective action when necessary in conjunction with hiring managerConduct or facilitate workforce trainingParticipate in development and administration of Corporate HR policies, procedures and standardsConduct all exit interviews and coordinate unemployment claimsMay be primary user of HRISMaintain compliance with Corporate HR policies, local policies and federal and state employment regulationsMaintain secure personnel filesAdditional responsibilities as assignedMinimum Qualifications Required
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred3 years experience as HR generalistPHR / SPHR preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyAbility to negotiate and solve problemsAble to work in team environmentProficient in applicable technologyStrong organizational skills, time management and multi-tasking ability and prioritizingAbility to travel as required by business needs#LI-MM2 #LI-Hybrid
