Public Relations & Public Affairs Director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). This role focuses on strategizing, developing and executing a global public relations plan aligned to business goals, managing media relationships, and providing strategic counsel on PR opportunities across businesses.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global public relations strategy across businesses and thought leadership areas to generate awareness and media coverage.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications peers to ensure a holistic strategy with defined goals, objectives and KPIs.
- Craft compelling media narratives and thought leadership; build relationships with editors, journalists and analysts; influence news coverage and protect against reputational risk.
- Draft and place bylined articles; provide strategic counsel on PR opportunities across the business; partner with senior leaders to shape messaging.
- Manage DTCC’s engagement with media in the US and globally; handle urgent inquiries; facilitate in-person meetings with journalists and executive leadership.
- Maintain relationships with global PR agencies, review content and advise on strategy and coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities; support social media for related media work including content development and video initiatives.
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures and maintaining ethical standards.

Qualifications
Minimum of 12-15 years of related experienceBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for Success
