Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and required certifications for an ambulatory and hospital setting assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in an imaging / radiology department with a focus on breast imaging procedures

Ambulatory and inpatient hospital patient population

Perform advanced mammography including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ultrasound-guided biopsies

Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Black scrubs are required

Responsibilities include performing high-quality breast imaging procedures as ordered, preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining imaging records

Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness in collaboration with engineering staff

Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols at all times

Ability to serve diverse patient populations, including pediatric through geriatric

Fifty-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted

Returning employees may be subject to rehire eligibility verification

May be expected to train and orient new team members

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist

Active ARRT, BLS, and TMB certifications required

Active TX license required if applicable

Two professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccination required with no exemptions during flu season (August – November)
