Lakewood School District In-House Attorney The Lakewood School District is seeking a highly qualified In-House Attorney to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to play a critical role in supporting the District's mission and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications & Experience Required : Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Education Law. Extensive experience handling complex litigation matters before all courts. Strong background in analyzing and interpreting statutes and regulations. Proven expertise in procurement law and complex contractual matters. Experience in staff contract negotiations with unions and associations. Skilled in reviewing and drafting legal contracts. Ability to advise the Superintendent, Board of Education, and District Administrators on legal issues affecting the District. Demonstrated ability to prepare and render legal advice and written opinions upon request.
