FULL TIME TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

Qualifications :

  • Ability to communicate effectively with proper grammar.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time ability to focus attention on detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Tennis Professional.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • USPTA certification preferred

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the members with all tennis needs and ensure tennis policies are being followed.
  • Teach private or group tennis lessons / drills.
  • Teach junior red and orange classes in the evenings
  • Assist Junior Director with all Junior activities
  • Schedule, administer and promote leagues, round robins, drop-ins, ladders, tournaments, and all other events as applicable.
  • Develop and promote tennis clinics, private lessons, and adult, junior and senior programs.
  • Maintain courts in a professional manner and ensure that the environment is safe for all those who use the facility.
  • Provides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels and ages of players.
  • Assists in promoting and conducting tennis clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to attract and maintain members' / guests' tennis interests.
  • Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in tennis.
  • Ensure students understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and tennis etiquette.
  • Quickly and efficiently responds to member / guest questions, comments, and concerns in a professional, tactful manner.
  • Wearing a clean and neat uniform that follows Club and your property uniform standards daily.

    • Tennis Professional will be reporting directly to the Tennis Director. We offer base salary and competitive commission package. We are open 7 days a week and offer programming to kids at all ages and adults at all level. We are a very busy and vibrant private club. Motivated individual will be able to teach 40 hours weekly or more.
