Hook-N-Haul is looking for a full-time Fleet Technician to join our team in Medina County. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will perform both mobile and in-shop repairs to keep fleet vehicles running efficiently.

Pay : We provide competitive pay ranging from $23 - $28 / hour (based on experience).

SCHEDULE FOR OUR FLEET TECHNICIAN :

This mechanic position offers flexible scheduling options, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts , with availability for day, evening, and night shifts. Additionally, technicians will be part of a rotating on-call weekend schedule for emergency repairs.

YOUR ROLE AS A FLEET TECHNICIAN :

Your day will start by preparing your mobile service truck, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are ready for field service. You will travel to fleet yards and service locations throughout Akron, Mansfield, Canton, and Richfield, handling diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers. If a vehicle requires more extensive repairs, you will either get it roadworthy for transport to our shop in Medina County or arrange for towing. Your responsibilities will include tire repairs, HVAC servicing, electrical troubleshooting, and major mechanical repairs. Proper documentation and adherence to safety procedures will be critical throughout your workday.

In order to do this, you'll need the following :

Possession of an ASE diesel certification or a Class A CDL is a plus. Road service experience is also a plus.
