We are seeking a strategic and visionary Director, Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our comprehensive total rewards strategy that advances our mission, supports business growth, and enhances the employee experience. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a key partner to our CHRO, you will have the opportunity to influence organizational performance, drive innovation in rewards programs, and lead a high-performing team of HR professionals across the globe. Along with being a leader, this individual will serve as a collaborative partner ensuring a benefits approach that reflects both evolving trends in the marketplace and our company's vision.
This position is based at our Bloomington, MN headquarters working a hybrid work schedule.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership for Total Rewards leading a global team of 12+ direct and indirect reports.
- Drive strategic alignment across compensation, health & wellbeing, retirement and recognition programs while participating and / or leading various compensation and benefit committees and groups.
- Establish a compelling vision and drive a strategically aligned competitive global total rewards strategy inclusive of a newly established global job architecture / framework - including maintaining job leveling and pay structures for equitable pay aligned with responsibilities.
- Oversee compensation programs base pay, merit increases, variable and incentive pay, bonuses, equity and executive compensation.
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance on annual proxy statements and other executive compensation disclosures.
- Recommends pay for performance merit increase allocation strategies that are consistent with pay philosophies and strategies. Forecasts industry merit increase payout budgets, and pay structure adjustments.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership presenting information, expert analysis and recommendations to the HR & Compensation Committee and other executive leadership.
- Oversee benefit programs with a focus on employee well-being, competitive offerings, and cost efficiency. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Provide pay and benefits guidance for Labor Relations / Collective Bargaining agreements and ensures successful execution of negotiated plans.
- Manage relationships with vendors, consultants and brokers. Serve as a member of the Investment Committee and participate in benefits and compensation governance groups.
- Develop and manage program and annual budget requirements. Ensure internal and external audit readiness and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensures principles and practices supporting diversity, equity and inclusion are woven throughout strategies, plans and practices.
- Keeps current with latest total rewards developments, trends and relevant technology. Researches industry / process / program best practices and initiates the development and implementation of new Total Rewards business enhancement and requirements. Continuously evaluates compensation, recognition and wellness programs to ensure competitiveness in recruiting and retaining talent through surveys and analysis.
- Plans and directs program policy development and administration through the Total Rewards COE teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related discipline7+ years of experience overseeing multiple disciplines within HR including experience with compensation / benefits design, including executive compensation5+ years of experience managing a team of HR professionalsPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree MBA, MHA, or other relevant degreeRelevant work experience in manufacturingExperience working with unionized environmentsCertified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Professional and / or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and / or Certified Global Compensation Professional (CGCC)Relocation : This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
Annual Salary Range : $148,300 $196,600. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for :
