Leading defense law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ year of experience to join their growing Medical Malpractice team in the New York City office. Experience in medical malpractice defense, healthcare and / or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities :

Manage assigned cases and prepare periodic status reports for clients
Handle cases from inception to conclusion
Take and defend depositions
Court appearances
Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery

Qualifications :

Strong academics

Excellent research and writing skills

1+years of litigation experience

Licensed to practice and New York

Base Salary range 130k-200k + Bonuses+ Comprehensive Benefits Package.
