Job Overview :
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to become an integral part of the team. This role involves working within a high-volume order entry department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders for the sales department. You’ll be a key player in the communication process, liaising with both customers and internal teams to track and manage order statuses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order Processing : Accurately input and process high volumes of customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.
- Customer Communication : Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on order status, delivery tracking, and any changes or issues.
- Order Verification : Review orders for discrepancies, pricing issues, or missing information, and proactively resolve any concerns with customers or internal teams.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping : Maintain organized and accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborative Support : Work closely with the sales, inventory, and shipping departments to ensure seamless order processing and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Data Entry & Reporting : Perform regular data entry and assist with order-related reporting, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Experience in a customer service or order entry role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Accurate Typing & Ten-Key Skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and internal teams.Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Proficient in computer systems and software, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and order management systems.PandoLogic.
