Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Test Engineer II to join our client's team in Hagerstown, MD . Our client is a leading firm in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products and services, ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft and orbital / space exploration systems.

Responsibilities of the Test Engineer II :

  • Develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements.
  • Execute tests using industry-leading tools.
  • Test system and component-level new products.
  • Develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
  • Document Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.

Qualifications of the Test Engineer II :

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
  • Experience with planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
  • Familiarity with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
  • Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in generating and disposing of product non-conformances.
  • Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e., FAA, NASA, DoD).
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Mustang Shelby Certified
  • Current Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Current or ability to obtain and maintain FAA CLASS III Medical Certification
  • Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
