Proficiency in requirements management, system design, and systems integration. Experience with planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities. Familiarity with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies, including manual and automated testing. Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in generating and disposing of product non-conformances. Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e., FAA, NASA, DoD). Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques. Mustang Shelby Certified Current Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Current or ability to obtain and maintain FAA CLASS III Medical Certification Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices Detail-oriented Excellent communication skills 10 Days PTO Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Matching 401k Payrate : $30-$35 / hr
Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Test Engineer II to join our client's team in Hagerstown, MD . Our client is a leading firm in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products and services, ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft and orbital / space exploration systems.
Responsibilities of the Test Engineer II :
- Develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements.
- Execute tests using industry-leading tools.
- Test system and component-level new products.
- Develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Document Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
