Job Description
The Capacity Management Analyst I applies knowledge of the client's clinical or business requirements, Epic Cadence application capabilities, and technical skills to implement and support advanced scheduling throughout the Ambulatory enterprise. The Capacity Management Analyst I will be a subject matter expert (SME) in Epic Cadence, client and Access Center operations workflows. The Capacity Management Analyst I is responsible for the implementation of new decision support systems and modifications to existing systems. The Capacity Management Analyst I is also responsible for the application configuration, go-live support, and on-going client support. He / she works on multiple projects concurrently. The Capacity Management Analyst I provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization's mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care while driving the migration to Epic-powered solutions which will optimize patient access across the Ambulatory enterprise.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or High School Degree with equivalent knowledge, skills, experience)
Experience Requirements
1-2 years healthcare experience in outpatient setting, including experience in healthcare operations, medical office administration, and / or with healthcare information systemsEpic knowledge (Cadence, Prelude, etc.)Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio preferred)Responsibilities
Build, test, and implement decision support across various decision support for specialties across Ambulatory. Maintain decision support system for accuracy of scheduling by Access Centers.Intimate knowledge of Epic Cadence and advanced scheduling methodology.Pro-actively assist with escalated operational management and client issues. Be a resource for all stakeholders to address internal and external client needs or concerns. Resolve operational / administrative inquiries for Access Centers and Ambulatory clients.Provide consultative services to clients regarding desired outcomes and offer recommendations / solutions to Cadence related scheduling concerns, including decision support system and / or template management.Provide consultative services to Digital and Technology Partners on tickets regarding template change requests from operational clients.Provide go-live and roll-out support collaborating with Access Centers, Ambulatory and DTP. Support users on new Epic applications, modules, and functionality.Analyze multiple data streams to improve the delivery of coordinated scheduling. Identify areas of improvement to increase scheduler accuracy and efficiency.Assess impact of day-to-day change requests on centralized templates and decision trees, testing all change requests through different Epic environments in coordination with DTP to ensure process standards.Implement and innovate processes which drive accuracy operational efficiency to provide highest level of client service.Successful completion of all Advanced Scheduling assigned tasks and projects in timely manner.Track and trend performance data. Quickly identify trends to resolve issues prior to causing a disruption in service delivery.Increase throughput and efficiency of ambulatory scheduling with a focus on Access Centers.Frequent engagement with Capacity Management leadership as an access and scheduling optimization Subject Matter Expert.Equal Opportunity Employer

Compensation Statement
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65885 - $98827 Annually.
