Description
The CNC Supervisor supervises production machining functions as well as the personnel in the machine shop. Assists all departments in the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Supervise department personnel on Second Shift 3 pm- 11 pm
- Supervises activities, processes and products in alignment with environmental, safety and quality policies and goals
- Monitor job progress and delivery deadlines
- Assign jobs to department personnel
- Performs yearly employee reviews
- Utilize six-sigma quality tools, when appropriate, to define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes and outcomes.
- Responsible to maintain & support processes, procedures & K.P.I.’s owned by your position.
- Review of all procedures related to your job per “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”
- Completion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.

Understands basics of office computer softwareQUALIFICATIONS :
5 years of experience in model making and production machiningHigh School diploma or equivalentTwo years management experienceFamiliar with MasterCam™ DesignWORK ENVIRONMENT :
The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Sit or stand as needed.Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.Proper lifting techniques required.Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
