Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides all aspects of support to both internal and external customers. In addition to the CSR Team, this role also supports the Sales team and serves as a liaison between internal and external customers. Manufacturing background helpful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Enters customer RFQs in the estimation system
- Enters customer Purchase Orders (POs) into Toyo Tanso USA’s (TTU’s) sales order workbench to support sales and provide accurate sales totals.
- Work in company and customer systems such as IndustriOS, Ariba, Pact, GE Single Sign On, iSupplier, and quoting system.
- Follows up on all Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Sales Orders, and all other customer inquiries and internal incidentals.
- Performs other duties as assigned as necessary to support Sales and CSR teams
Education / Experience :
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Microsoft Office software experience preferred including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.High school algebra or higherPrevious customer service-related experience as well as manufacturing experience preferredExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to solve practical problems and manage unique case by case situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form by individuals outside of the CSR departmentAbility to use professional communications and respectful, positive dialog with interdepartmental customersFluency in Japanese preferred but not required.Toyo Tanso USA offers great benefits!
