Loan Assistant

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant / Junior Loan Officer to join our dynamic mortgage team in the Capital District region. You will work directly with a high-producing Loan Officer in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, motivated to learn, and eager to contribute to a growing business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the Loan Officer in managing the loan pipeline from application to closing.
• Prepare, review, and process loan applications and related documentation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, realtors, processors, and other parties to ensure a smooth loan process.
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with all lending regulations.
• Assist in problem-solving and finding solutions to move loans forward.
• Contribute to marketing, client follow-up, and database management as needed.
