Urgent Care Assistant Job Description

Seeking a Veterinary Assistant who is dedicated to provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a calm, welcoming environment. At Vida Veterinary Urgent Care, we believe in "Kindness, compassion, and grace above all else."

Vida Vet is Middletown, Delaware's newest veterinary hospital offering urgent care. Our hours are Mon-Fri 11pm-8pm and Sat / Sun 9am-6pm. We are closed all major holidays. Rotating weekend shifts are a requirement for this position. Experience required.

We are looking for an efficient and friendly assistant to join our team.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to :

• Safely restraining patients upon direction
• Assisting Doctors & LVT's with daily tasks upon direction
• Maintaining clean, sanitized, and safe kennels & exam rooms
• Assisting with reception when necessary & answering phone calls / e-mails in an appropriate and timely manner
