Description
This position is responsible for the identification, receipt, movement and supporting transactions of incoming raw and finished materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
- Performs pick and pack functions.
- Lifts, places, transports, and counts component parts and equipment.
- Checks quantity, type, and part numbers to properly identify materials when necessary.
- Provides limited transactional duties to support physical movement of inventory.
- Provides support to designated area.
- Routes or delivers materials to storage or manufacturing locations.
- Loads and unloads materials.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of 0 - 6 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
