Job Description

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare professional with expertise in school nursing is needed to support K-12 students in Wilkes Barre, PA. This contract position spans a plete school year (CSY) and involves delivering quality nursing care within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform health assessments and manage routine and emergency care for students
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate health records and municate with parents, staff, and healthcare providers
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
Promote health education and preventive care in the school munity
Respond appropriately to health emergencies following established protocols

Desired Qualifications :

Current and valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) certification; RN (Registered Nurse) licensure preferred

Experience working in school health settings or pediatric nursing

Strong knowledge of health management tailored to children and adolescents

Excellent munication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
