Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Market General Manager to lead the Mint Julep Experiences Nashville business. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, driving sales, and executing local marketing and business strategy in the transportation and tourism sectors. The ideal candidate is an inspirational team leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience growing businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial performance, personnel, operations, logistics, and sales & marketing responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue targets, and growth strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify and nurture brand partnerships with hotels, DMOs, CVBs, venues, and attractions and execute local marketing strategy
- Manage and support team of drivers, tour guides, and sales coordinators
- Establish clear performance metrics and conduct weekly evaluations to track team success
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture that encourages accountability and professional growth
- Continually research customer preferences and competitor offerings and adjust product catalogue
- Ensure efficient handling of bookings, cancellations, and last-minute requests
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges that impact sales and customer experience
- Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to monitor sales trends, customer behaviors, and conversion rates
- Represent Mint Julep Experiences at local industry events and hospitality functions
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or a related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of management experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or transportationProven track record in management, sales, operations, and marketingDemonstrated success in growing businesses and exceeding revenue targetsStrong leadership skills with experience in coaching, team building, and performance managementExpertise in B2B and B2C sales, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and direct customer salesProficiency in CRM software and data analytics tools for sales tracking and reportingExceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving capabilitiesCDL certification is a plusExperience with whiskey / bourbon spirits is a plusWhat We Offer
